Paola Santo Coy llegará a la dirección de la Sala de Arte Público Siqueiros y La Tallera para sustituir a Willy Kautz.

De la misma forma Luis Orozco encabezará el Ex Teresa Arte Actual, en lugar de Valeria Macías

The appointments will take place in the first half of October. María del Sol Argüelles will join the Museum of Modern Art to replace Natalia Pollak, while Valeria Macías will become director of the Carrillo Gil Museum, replacing María del Sol Argüelles.

Paola Santo Coy will become director of the Siqueiros Public Art Gallery and La Tallera, replacing Willy Kautz.

La joven animadora de 2D, creadora de Kido, su ópera prima que ha recibido reconocimientos importantes en festivales internacionales, ganó la beca Animéxico que impulsan desde 2018 Guillermo del Toro, Cinépolis y la Escuela de Animación Gobelins.

La beca incluye la matrícula y colegiatura en la escuela de animación Gobelins de Francia, así como una ayuda para manutención. 

The young 2D animator, creator of Kido, her debut feature film that has received significant recognition at international festivals, won the Animéxico scholarship, promoted since 2018 by Guillermo del Toro, Cinépolis, and the Gobelins Animation School.

Conocido por sus papeles protagónicos en “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid” y “Todos los hombres del presidente”, Redford también dirigió películas galardonadas como “Gente corriente” y “Un río lo atraviesa”.

Su pasión por el arte cinematográfico lo impulsó a crear el Instituto Sundance, conocida por su Festival de Cine de Sundance que apoya el cine independendiente. “Robert Redford passed away on September 16, 2025, at his home in Sundance, in the mountains of Utah, the place he loved, surrounded by his loved ones. He will be greatly missed,” Berger told CNN. “The family requests privacy.”

Known for his starring roles in “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid” and “All the President’s Men,” Redford also directed award-winning films such as “Ordinary People” and “A River Runs Through It.”

His passion for the art of film led him to create the Sundance Institute, known for its Sundance Film Festival, which supports independent cinema. Redford was also a dedicated environmentalist. He moved to Utah in 1961 and led efforts to preserve the state’s natural landscape and the American West.

Redford acted well into his old age, reuniting with Jane Fonda in the 2017 Netflix film «Our Souls at Night.» The following year, he starred in «The Old Man & the Gun» at age 82, a film he said would be his last, though he stated that he would not consider retiring.

Children’s author Robert Munsch told the New York Times that he had opted for medically assisted dying, also known as MAID, after being previously diagnosed with dementia and Parkinson’s disease. He requested medically assisted dying and was approved shortly after his diagnosis, he told the publication. But amid the outpouring of tributes to the author, his daughter, Julie Munsch, clarified on social media Tuesday that her father is not dying, that she is still well and will not die anytime soon.

Munsch is the author of books such as The Paper Bag Princess (1980), Mortimer (1983), I Love You Forever (1986), Murmel, Murmel, Murmel (1982), and many more. Munsch has written some 75 books, all of them much loved.

Pepe Aguilar, Leonardo y Ángela Aguilar se presentaron la noche del 15 de septiembre en la ceremonia de las Fiestas Patrias en Guadalajara  a pesar de que en redes circuló durante varios días previos una iniciativa de change.org respaldada por más de 200 mil firmas que manifestaba el rechazo a la presentación de los artistas, debido a los discursos que han expresado en contra de migrantes en Estados Unidos.

El concierto se desarrolló sin sobresaltos ni abucheos hacia los cantantes.

Pepe Aguilar, Leonardo, and Ángela Aguilar performed on the night of September 15th at the Fiestas Patrias ceremony in Guadalajara, despite a change.org initiative circulating on social media for several days prior, supported by more than 200,000 signatures, expressing opposition to the artists’ performance due to their statements against immigrants in the United States.

The concert proceeded without any surprises or boos directed at the singers.
