La Muestra Estatal de Teatro Jalisco 2025 se llevará a cabo del 19 al 27 de septiembre en foros del Área Metropolitana de Guadalajara y Lagos de Moreno. El jurado —integrado por Jaime Chabaud, Claudia Anguiano y Raquel Araujo— seleccionó 16 obras de 12 compañías entre 72 propuestas. Se privilegió la inclusión, diversidad, enfoque de género, fomento cultural y creación de espacios libres de violencia. Además, se impartirán seis talleres. Entre las obras destacan:

The 2025 Jalisco State Theater Showcase will take place from September 19 to 27 in venues throughout the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area and Lagos de Moreno. The jury—composed of Jaime Chabaud, Claudia Anguiano, and Raquel Araujo—selected 16 plays from 12 companies among 72 proposals. Priority was given to inclusion, diversity, a gender perspective, cultural promotion, and the creation of violence-free spaces. In addition, six workshops will be offered. The plays include:

La muestra que se puede apreciar desde el 11 de septiembre contó con la curaduría de Gerardo Lammers. En ella los visitantes podrán encontrar aforismos de Rodríguez, un documental y una instalación nacida de una conversación entre Camnitzer y la inteligencia artificial. Entre las actividades paralelas a la exposición se encuentran la presentación de un libro y un simposium virtual internacional.

Camnitzer visitó Guadalajara para impartir la conferencia «Arte, Simón Rodríguez y la Inteligencia Artificial», en el marco de la Cátedra Latinoamericana Julio Cortázar de la Universidad de Guadalajara.
El académico quien ha trabajado con diversos chatbots, haccomo ChatGPT, Grok y DeepSeek, dijo que para él son herramientas que nos pueden permitir viajar en el tiempo para conocer nuevos escenarios y de ahí que surgió dicha exposición. Durante la conferencia en el Paraninfo Enrique Díaz de León mencionó. «DeepSeek me ayudó a que Simón Rodríguez viajara en el tiempo y el espacio para que pueda conversar con distintos personajes, los sujetos van desde Bolívar o Montessori».

La exposición puede visitarse aún en el el 640 de avenida Juárez en Guadalajara.

The exhibition, which can be seen starting September 11, was curated by Gerardo Lammers. Visitors will discover Rodríguez’s aphorisms, a documentary, and an installation born from a conversation between Camnitzer and artificial intelligence. Activities parallel to the exhibition include a book presentation and an international virtual symposium.

Camnitzer visited Guadalajara to give the lecture «Art, Simón Rodríguez, and Artificial Intelligence,» as part of the Julio Cortázar Latin American Chair at the University of Guadalajara.
The academic, who has worked with various chatbots such as ChatGPT, Grok, and DeepSeek, said that for him, they are tools that allow us to travel through time to experience new scenarios, hence the origin of this presentation. During the lecture in the Auditorium, Enrique Díaz de León mentioned, «DeepSeek helped me allow Simón Rodríguez to travel through time and space so he could converse with different people, ranging from Bolívar to Montessori.»

Six Flags México ya ha abierto la edición 13 de su Festival del Terror, desde el 11 de septiembre al 17 de noviembre, con tres principales zonas de espanto: Night Marchers, Twisted Clowns y Ghost Town.

A estas activaciones se suman los festivales de Catrinas y Calaveras, Cortejo siniestro y Meet & Scream, Leyendas que nunca mueren, Witches, además del espectáculo circense Cirque Du Grotesque. El Festival del Terror Six Flags 2025 no estaría completo sin sus famosas casas del horror que representan su mayor atractivo, las cuales para esta edición suman un total de 8, entre ellas las ya conocidas Criptas, La Guillotina, Rancho Masacre y The Conjuring Experience, inspirada en las películas de «El Conjuro». A estas se agrega este año Widows, Killer Clowns, Cinema Slasher y No me sigas, una experiencia en vivo basada en la primera película en español que el estudio Blumhouse esta por estrenar.

Adicionalmente los más pequeños pueden disfrutar de actividades y espectáculos temáticos en el Kids Boo Fest 2025, el cual ofrece una experiencia más familiar y apta para todas las edades.

Six Flags Mexico has already opened the 13th edition of its Festival of Terror, from September 11 to November 17, with three main zones of terror: Night Marchers, Twisted Clowns, and Ghost Town.

These activities are complemented by the Catrinas and Calaveras festivals, Cortejo Sinister and Meet & Scream, Leyendas Que Nunca Dien, Witches, and the circus show Cirque Du Grotesque. The 2025 Six Flags Festival of Terror would not be complete without its famous houses of terror, which represent its main attraction. This year’s event totals eight, including the well-known Crypts, La Guillotina, Rancho Masacre, and The Conjuring Experience, inspired by the «Conjuring» films. This year, Widows, Killer Clowns, Cinema Slasher, and Don’t Follow Me, a live experience based on the first Spanish-language film Blumhouse is about to release, are added.

Additionally, little ones can enjoy themed activities and shows at Kids Boo Fest 2025, which offers a more family-friendly experience suitable for all ages.

La OFJ se presenta el miércoles 17 de septiembre a las 20:00 horas en el Teatro del Bicentenario Roberto Plascencia Saldaña, en León, mientras que el viernes 19 de septiembre a las 20:00 horas hará otra presentación en la Sala Nezahualcóyotl de la Ciudad de México.
El programa que interpretará el conjunto dirigido por José Luis Castillo incluye Huapango y Sandunga de Carlos Chávez, Esquinas de Silvestre Revueltas y la Sinfonía No. 11 El año 1905 de Dmitri Shostakóvich, en conmemoración de su 50 aniversario luctuoso.

The JFO will perform on Wednesday, September 17th at 8:00 PM at the Roberto Plascencia Saldaña Bicentennial Theater in León, while on Friday, September 19th at 8:00 PM it will give another performance at the Nezahualcóyotl Hall in Mexico City.
The program performed by the ensemble, conducted by José Luis Castillo, includes Huapango and Sandunga by Carlos Chávez, Esquinas by Silvestre Revueltas, and Dmitri Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 11, The Year 1905, in commemoration of his 50th death anniversary.

La muestra que reúne 20 piezas de Alfonso Hernández que pueden admirarse hasta el 26 de octubre, ha sido posible gracias a la colaboración del Instituto de Astronomía y Meteorología (IAM) de la Universidad de Guadalajara y está estructurada en tres ejes temáticos: Procesos y experimentación, Territorio y paisaje y Luna, Sol y eclipses.
De manera paralela los organizadores han desarrollado un ciclo de charlas. Club de observación de nubes, excursiones al instituto, cursos, talleres y laboratorios de investigación artística.

The exhibition, which brings together 20 pieces by Alfonso Hernández and can be seen until October 26, was made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Institute of Astronomy and Meteorology (IAM) of the University of Guadalajara and is structured around three thematic axes: Processes and Experimentation, Territory and Landscape, and Moon, Sun, and Eclipses.
In parallel, the organizers have developed a series of talks, a cloud-watching club, field trips to the institute, courses, workshops, and artistic research laboratories.
