La Feria Internacional de la Música de Guadalajara (FIM GDL) celebrará su undécimo aniversario del 25 al 28 de febrero de 2026 con la participación de delegaciones de Chile, Canadá y Colombia.Además, se tendrá la visita de otros 17 países con la intención de fortalecer las relaciones y cooperación entre artistas de todas las latitudes. 

Algunos de los expositores confirmados son Paty Carrera de Control Freaks, Toy Selectah de Worldwide Records, Dan Koplowitz de Friendly Fire Licensing, Sam Parvin de Parvin Music, Jen Noya supervisora musical independiente.

The Guadalajara International Music Fair (FIM GDL) will celebrate its eleventh anniversary from February 25 to 28, 2026, with the participation of delegations from Chile, Canada, and Colombia. In addition, representatives from 17 other countries will be present, with the aim of strengthening relationships and cooperation among artists from all over the world.

Some of the confirmed exhibitors include Paty Carrera of Control Freaks, Toy Selectha of Worldwide Records, Dan Koplowitz of Friendly Fire Licensing, Sam Parvin of Parvin Music, and Jen Noya, an independent music supervisor.

Matrescencia es el título de la muestra colectiva que reúne el trabajo de 13 integrantes de la Liga de Artistas y Creadoras docentes y estudiantes del Centro Universitario de Arte Arquitectura y Diseño (CUAAD) de la Universidad de Guadalajara del 8 al 29 de noviembre en el 2055 de la calle Esteban Baca Calderón en Jardines Alcalde.

Matrescencia is the title of the group exhibition featuring the work of 13 members of the League of Artists and Creators, faculty and students of the University Center for Art, Architecture and Design (CUAAD) at the University of Guadalajara. The exhibition runs from November 8 to 29 at 2055 Esteban Baca Calderón Street in Jardines Alcalde.

La actriz británica Pauline Collins nacida en Exmouth en 1940, quien ganó el Premio BAFTA y fue nominada al Óscar por su papel en la película Yo amo a shirley Valentine (1989) murió a los 85 años en Londres, después de varios años de padecer Parkinson, según informó su familia.

Desde hace algunos días se planteó que durante la visita de Emmanuel Macron, presidente de Francia a México se abordaría el tema de la devolución de los códices Borbónico y Azcatitlán que se resguardan en la Bilioteca Nacional de Francia y en la Biblioteca de la Asamblea Nacional que el gobierno mexicano comenzó a gestionar desde 2023 y en donde implicó al pueblo hñäñu.

For some days now, it has been suggested that during the visit of Emmanuel Macron, President of France, to Mexico, the issue of the return of the Borbonic and Azcaltitán codices, currently housed in the National Library of France and the Library of the National Assembly, would be addressed. The Mexican government began the process of returning the codices in 2023, involving the Hñäñu people.

The documents narrate the beliefs, history, and rituals of some pre-Hispanic peoples of the Valley of Mexico.

La 13ª edición de la Gran Fiesta del Cine Mexicano se celebra en Guadalajara del 7 al 14 de noviembre, con proyecciones en sedes como Cinemex Sania, el Edificio Arroniz y el Cine Mayahuel. El festival presentó 39 largometrajes y 38 cortometrajes, incluyendo coproducciones con España, e incluyó la ceremonia de premiación de la película inaugural «Sobre las olas». The 13th edition of the Great Mexican Film Festival is being held in Guadalajara from November 7 to 14, with screenings at venues such as Cinemex Sania, the Arroniz Building, and the Mayahuel Cinema. The festival presented 39 feature films and 38 short films, including co-productions with Spain, and featured the awards ceremony for the opening film, «Over the Waves.» The celebration also paid tribute to figures such as Luis Felipe Tovar, Lalo «El Mimo,» Mike Laure, and Adrián Araujo.
