Como una continuación de la cinta de John McTiernan de 1987 protagonizada por Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dan Trachtenberg comenzó este año a ampliar el universo con Predator: Killer of Killers que presenta tres historias ambientadas en las invasiones vikingas , el Japón Feudal y la Segunda Guerra Mundial… a partir de ahí el director creó Predator: Badlands.
La película está situada en un futuro lejano, en un universo compartido con aliens, el elenco incluye a Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi, Elle Fanning. La cinta es entretenida, los efectos especiales son de alta calidad y se respira frescura en cada escena.

Emmanuel Carrére ganó el Premio Médicis de narrativa francesa por su novela Kolkhoze en la que explora la historia de su familia. En este libro publicado por la editorial P.O.L, el autor se centra en la figura de su madre Helene Carrere d’Encause, historiadora especializada en Rusia, quien recibió el Premio Princesa de Asturias de Ciencias Sociales en 2023.

Emmanuel Carrère won the Médicis Prize for French fiction for his novel Kolkhoz, in which he explores his family history. In this book, published by P.O.L., the author focuses on his mother, Hélène Carrère d’Encausse, a historian specializing in Russia, who received the Princess of Asturias Award for Social Sciences in 2023.
The Médicis Prize was founded in 1958 by Jean-Pierre Giraudoux and Gala Barbisan to recognize literary innovation.

The University of Guadalajara, in collaboration with the Mexican Network of Science Journalists (RMPC), is holding the Hispanic American Forum on Science Journalism from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on November 7 at Casa ITESO Clavigero. The forum aims to foster reflection on diverse approaches to communicating science, guided by principles of responsibility, ethics, and rigor.

The event, themed “Journalism in Dialogue with Environmental Education and Citizen Knowledge,” features prominent guests such as Alejandra Xanic, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist; Elba Aurora Castro, communications specialist and coordinator of the Master’s Program in Environmental Education at the University Center for Biological and Agricultural Sciences (CUCBA) of the University of Guadalajara; and Mónica Nepote, author and recipient of the Xavier Villaurrutia Prize.
