Con el objetivo de fortalecer la atención a la salud de las y los habitantes del municipio, desde abril de 2025 se encuentra en funcionamiento el área de Rehabilitación Física del Gobierno Municipal de San Pedro Tlaquepaque.

La titular de la Secretaría de Salud municipal, Evangelina Torres Vázquez, informó que este espacio fue habilitado para atender la creciente demanda de servicios de rehabilitación física por parte de la población. Detalló que, a la fecha, se han brindado alrededor de tres mil atenciones.

El área cuenta con tres fisioterapeutas y prestadores de servicio, quienes ofrecen atención de lunes a viernes, en un horario de 8:00 a 18:00 horas. Además, dispone del equipamiento necesario para proporcionar terapias especializadas de rehabilitación.

Para acceder al servicio es indispensable presentar una prescripción médica emitida por un traumatólogo o por un médico especialista en medicina física y rehabilitación o en medicina del deporte. El costo de la consulta de atención en rehabilitación es de 97 pesos.

Entre los tratamientos que se ofrecen se encuentran la valoración previa por personal especializado, así como terapias de electroestimulación y ejercicios específicos, diseñados de acuerdo con el tipo de lesión, con el propósito de contribuir a la recuperación y bienestar de las y los pacientes.

La unidad de Rehabilitación Física se ubica en Servicios Médicos Municipales, Marcos Montero Ruiz número 959, en la colonia Álamo, y opera de lunes a viernes, de 8:00 a 18:00 horas.

Treatments offered include a preliminary evaluation by specialized personnel, as well as electrostimulation therapy and specific exercises, designed according to the type of injury, with the aim of contributing to the recovery and well-being of patients.
