Especialistas en historia de la Universidad de Guadalajara (UdeG) convocaron a participar en un proyecto de investigación monumental para conmemorar cinco siglos de historia de la ciudad de Guadalajara.

Se trata de un proyecto “Magna Historia de Guadalajara, 1532-2032”, que busca investigar, rescatar y documentar la historia tapatía –en aras de cumplirse 500 años desde la primera fundación de la ciudad–, y en él se involucrarán estudiantes de la licenciatura en Historia del Centro Universitario de Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades (CUCS), así como alumnos del doctorado y maestría en Historia del mismo plantel.
Se plantea que este proyecto se desarrolle en cuatro etapas. La primera de ellas será la investigación, que consistirá en realizar desde 2026 hasta 2028 la recopilación de fuentes primarias y secundarias, la definición de la metodología de investigación y la búsqueda de archivos en instituciones como el Archivo General de las Indias, el Archivo General de la Nación y otros referentes bibliográficos de Guadalajara y el país.

Posteriormente, entre 2029 y 2030 se llevará a cabo el desarrollo y estructuración de la información compilada, para después pasar a la etapa de diseño y edición y finalizar, entre 2030 y 2032, con la publicación de los materiales obtenidos y la obra completa

History specialists from the University of Guadalajara (UdeG) have launched a call for participation in a monumental research project to commemorate five centuries of Guadalajara’s history.

The project, titled «Great History of Guadalajara, 1532-2032,» aims to investigate, recover, and document the history of Guadalajara—in anticipation of the 500th anniversary of the city’s first founding. Undergraduate students in History from the University Center for Social Sciences and Humanities (CUCS), as well as doctoral and master’s students in History from the same institution, will be involved.

The project is planned to be developed in four stages. The first phase will be research, which will consist of compiling primary and secondary sources, defining the research methodology, and searching archives in institutions such as the General Archive of the Indies, the General Archive of the Nation, and other bibliographic resources in Guadalajara and throughout the country, from 2026 to 2028.

Subsequently, between 2029 and 2030, the compiled information will be developed and structured, followed by the design and editing stage. Finally, between 2030 and 2032, the materials obtained and the complete work will be published.

Cage will play an aging and down-on-his-luck Ben Reilly, who works as a private investigator in 1930s New York.
The series will premiere on Prime Video on May 27, 2026. One of the unique features of this series is that viewers can choose to watch it in authentic black and white cinematic style or in full-color «True-Hue.»

Unlike the traditional Spider-Man, the motto of this version is «No power, no responsibility,» so the plot focuses on a darker and more mature detective story. Cage will be joined by Lamorne Morris (Robbie Robertson), Brendan Gleeson (Silvermane), and Li Jun Li (Cat Hardy).
