Luis García Jasso (1941-2026) coleccionista y fundador de la Galería Vértice de Guadalajara en 1987 falleció este 16 de marzo según lo anunciaron familiares, conocidos y dependencias gubernamentales como la Secretaría de Cultura de Jalisco, en redes sociales. A través de el mencionado centro cultural, impulsó la carrera de artistas residentes en Guadalajara pertenecientes a diversas generaciones. Durante casi 30 años el espacio albergó más de 200 exhibiciones.

Luis García Jasso (1941-2026), collector and founder of the Vértice Gallery in Guadalajara in 1987, passed away this March 16th, as announced by family, friends, and government agencies such as the Jalisco Ministry of Culture on social media. Through this cultural center, he fostered the careers of Guadalajara-based artists from various generations. For nearly 30 years, the gallery hosted more than 200 exhibitions.
