El Museo Franz Mayer alberta la exposición Surreal. Rodney Smith (1947-2016) que puede disfrutarse del 29 de octubre al 15 de marzo de 2026. La obra de Smith está inspirada en la obra de Vilhelm Hamershoi y René Magritte de manera que su fotografía crea una serie de átmosferas particulares entre lo humano y lo divino.

La NASA y la Red Internacional de Alerta de ASTEROIDES (IAWN) además de la Agencia Espacial Europea (ESA) han activado un plan de monitoreo reforzado para estudiar la órbita y el cometa 3I/ATLAS, el objeto interestelar que actualmente atravies ael sistema solar interior.
Aunque no representa un riesgo para la tierra, ni para el sol, el cometa que fue descubierto el 1 de julio pasado es interesante para los expertos porque no su composición química es atípica y puede ofrecer información sobre los materiales existentes fuera del Sistema Solar, conocer más de su órbita y desarrollar protocolos de respuesta ente escenarios de riesgo hipotéticos sin que existe peligro real. Otro punto de mucho interés es que si nuestro Sistema Solar tiene 4 mil 600 millones de años, este cometa podría tener hasta 100 millones de años. Algunos expertos han afirmado que tiene cantidades de agua superiores a las de muchos objetos semejantes del sistema solar y su larga cola de polvo y gas mide cerca de 6 mil kilómetros.
