La festividad de quien fue uno de los doce discípulos de Jesús se celebra en la liturgia católica romana el 28 de octubre, aunque popularmente suele ser recordado el día 28 de cada mes, en la liturgia hispánica-mozárabe se celebra el 1 de julio; mientras que en las Iglesias orientales se celebra el 19 de junio.

Jalisco Academy 2025, es el nombre del foro que se realiza la Secretaría de Educación Jalisco el 5 y 6 de noviembre en el Centro Cultural Universitario de la Universidad de Guadalajara y que incluirá más de 400 horas de contenido académico, como conferencias, talleres y espacios de innovación con el propósito de fortalecer la formación integral de infantes y adolescentes.

Seguido de este encuentro se realizará también Jalisco Aprende en Familia el 7 de noviembre. un espacio dirigido a madres, padres y tutores, con herramientas prácticas basadas en investigación educativa para fomentar hábitos positivos, virtudes y habilidades socioemocionales
Juan Carlos Flores Miramontes, secretario de dicha dependencia anunció que el año pasado contaron con 81 mil registros de asistencia.

Este año el lema el encuentro que reúne también a docentes, directivos e investigadores de México y otros países es Innova/Co-Crea/Transforma, que invita a reflexionar sobre cómo la innovación puede integrarse en la enseñanza de manera significativa.

Jalisco Academy 2025 is the name of the forum organized by the Jalisco Ministry of Education on November 5th and 6th at the University Cultural Center of the University of Guadalajara. Esta noche el Gobierno de Jalisco rindió un homenaje a Marco Antonio Muñiz en el marco de las Fiestas de Octubre. Fue un homenaje en donde cantaron Mijares, el Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán, Los Miranda, Miriam Solis y Rondalla Motivos.

El cantante tapatío de 92 años estuvo acompañado de su familia. Durante el espectáculo cantaron su hijo Jorge Muñiz, al igual que Rodolfo y Antonio Carlos Muñiz, sobrino e hijo del cantante. El público aplaudió la recreación de temas que cantaba Marco Antonio como Morenita Mía, Celoso, Escándalo, A la orilla del mar y Amo esta tierra.

Tonight, the Jalisco government paid tribute to Marco Antonio Muñiz as part of the October Festival. The tribute featured performances by Mijares, Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán, Los Miranda, Miriam Solis, and Rondalla Motivos.

Eugenia Revueltas Acevedo, murió a los 90 según anunció en sus redes sociales la Facultad de Letras de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, institución en la que la hija de Silverstre Revueltas e investigadora trabajaba.
Nacida en 1934 y autora de libros como El Discruso de Juan Ruiz de Alarcón. Texto y representación, Revueltas Acevedo directora de la revista universitaria Punto de Partida, se dedicó a investigar semiótica del teatro, narrativa mexicana contemporánea y la relación entre historia y literatura. Fue reconocida con el Mérito Editorial 2010 que otorga el gobierno de Zacatecas y el Premio Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz 2014 que otorga la UNAM a sus académicas destacadas.

Eugenia Revueltas Acevedo died at the age of 90, as announced on social media by the Faculty of Letters at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), the institution where the daughter of Silvestre Revueltas and a researcher worked.

Born in 1934 and author of books such as El Discuro de Juan Ruiz de Alarcón. Texto y representación (The Discourse of Juan Ruiz de Alarcón: Text and Representation), Revueltas Acevedo, director of the university journal Punto de Partida (Starting Point), dedicated herself to researching the semiotics of theater, contemporary Mexican narrative, and the relationship between history and literature. She was recognized with the 2010 Editorial Merit Award granted by the government of Zacatecas and the 2014 Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz Prize awarded by UNAM to its outstanding academics.
