El Museo de las Artes de la Universidad de Guadalajara (MUSA de la UdeG) recibió en 2025 un total de 187,751 visitantes en 2025.

En 2024 el recinto universitario registró 154,872 asistentes, mientras que en el año inmediato anterior contabilizó 141,594. Ente las exposiciones que se inauguraron y cerraron durante 2025 Raíces creativas: escena artística de Jalisco recibió 56,171 visitantes, con lo que se posiciona como la segunda más vista en la historia del museo, superada solamente por Kahlo sin fronteras, con 56,993 personas en 2023.

El MUSA cuenta actualmente con seis exhibiciones, entre ellas la de butacas intervenidas para los Premios del Público a las Artes Escénicas y Ceguera voluntaria, de Claudia Rodríguez, que terminarán el próximo 18 de enero. En el marco de esta última, habrá un recorrido guiado por la artista y por Rocío Sáenz, autora de las obras de Orden salvaje, el próximo viernes 16 a las 16:30 horas. Otras muestras son Fábulas fantásticas. Colección Museo de Arte Moderno y Doncella • Madre • Sabia. La mujer en la Colección Grodman, que finalizan el 8 de febrero. Además, Los libros de Barcelona. Diseño y edición permanecerá hasta el 1 de marzo. El MUSA abre de martes a sábado de 10:00 a 18:00 horas y domingo de 10:00 a 15:00 horas. La entrada es gratuita.

MUSA currently has six exhibitions on display, including the one featuring decorated seats for the Audience Awards for the Performing Arts and Voluntary Blindness by Claudia Rodríguez, both of which will close on January 18. As part of the latter, there will be a guided tour led by the artist and Rocío Sáenz, creator of the works in Wild Order, on Friday the 16th at 4:30 p.m. Other exhibitions include Fantastic Fables: Collection of the Museum of Modern Art and Maiden • Mother • Wise Woman: Women in the Grodman Collection, which close on February 8. Additionally, The Books of Barcelona: Design and Publishing will remain on view until March 1. MUSA is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00 and Sunday from 10:00 to 15:00. Admission is free.

El actor Mario Chávez García Cid, nacido en 1932, mejor conocido como Mario Cid, murió el 12 de enero a los 93 años, en Tampico, Tamaulipas.

El también padre de la comediante Mara Escalante consolidó su carrera en el teatro durante varias décadas, desde sus inicios en 1956, fue guionista de cintas como El vuelo de la muerte (1991) y Esta y la otra con un solo boleto (1983) y en cine hizo su debut en la película El águila negra contra los enmascarados de la muerte, al lado de Martha Valdés y Fernando Casanova, con la cual inició una fructífera participación en más de 120 películas.

After developing House of the Dragon, HBO continues exploring the Game of Thrones universe and launches the prequel The Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, a story that takes place 90 years before the events narrated by George R. R. Martin in Game of Thrones, in a time when House Targaryen sits on the Iron Throne. The story follows the adventures of Sir Duncan the Tall (Dunk) and his squire Egg, who is actually Prince Aegon, who will later become king. It premieres on January 18 on HBO.

The story is based on the novellas The Hedge Knight, The Sworn Sword, and The Mystery Knight. Peter Claffey will play Dunk and Dexter Sol Ansell will play Egg.
