Béla Tarr, el director de cine nacido en 1955 en Pécs fue autor de películas como La condena, la melancolía de la resistencia y Armonías de Werkmeister y trabajó en conjunto con Lászlo Krasznahorkai durante varios años. Una colaboración que rindió sus mejores frutos en la creación de la cinta Tango Satánico.

Tarr obtuvo el Oso de Plata en Berlín en 2011 por El caballo de Turín y fue condecorado por su trayectoria en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Tokio, recientemente en 2024 y en marzo de 2025 recibió el Premio Honorífico del D’A- Festival de Cine de Barcelona.

Béla Tarr, the film director born in 1955 in Pécs, was the author of films such as La Juventud (The Damnation), La Melancholia de la Résistencia (The Melancholy of Resistance), and Harmonies de Werkmeister (Werkmeister Harmonies). He worked with László Krasznahorkai for several years, a collaboration that bore its greatest fruit in the creation of the film Satantangó.

Tarri won the Silver Bear in Berlin in 2011 for The Turin Horse and was honored for his career at the Tokyo International Film Festival in 2024. In March 2025, he received the Honorary Award at the D’A Film Festival in Barcelona.

Eva Schloss-Geiringer, fallecida en Londres a los 96 años, nació en Viena y huida a Ámsterdam, Eva vivió en el mismo complejo de viviendas que Ana. Although different in temperament, the two girls often played together before going into hiding. Betrayed by the Dutch resistance, Eva was deported to Auschwitz-Birkenau on her 15th birthday. She survived with her mother, Fritzi, while her father and brother never returned. After the war, her mother married Otto Frank, the only surviving member of the Frank family, thus becoming Anne’s posthumous stepsister. Her posthumous book, «My Long Way,» published by Solferino, testifies to her decades-long commitment to documenting the Holocaust to prevent indifference from prevailing. With her passing, one of the last witnesses capable of portraying Anne Frank not as an icon, but as a true friend, has died.
