La veneración de la Virgen de Zapopan, motivo por el cual se realiza cada 12 de octubre la peregrinación de dicha imagen religiosa por diversos municipios de Jalisco y que tiene uno de sus momentos más importantes en el recorrido que la imagen hace de la Catedral Metropolitana de Guadalajara a su sede oficial en la Basílica de Zapopan fue declarada Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial de la Humanidad por la UNESCO en 2018.

Esta tradición que se remonta a la fundación misma de Guadalajara en 1542, logra aglutinar hoy en día un promedio de 2 millones 500 mil personas, de ahí que la Secretaría de Seguridad de Jalisco informó que con el objetivo de cuidar la integridad de los feligreses que formen parte de la edición 191 de la Romería, se realzará un despliegue de mil 200 elementos de la policía vial, la policía estatal y policía metropolitana desde el sábado 11 de octubre.

Juan Pablo Hernández, secretario de Seguridad de Jalisco compartió que contarán con dispositivos de alta tecnología para estar en contacto en todo momento con las comisarías de Guadalajara y Zapopan como el escuadrón aerotáctico Titán, el C2 móvil, las unidades Cybertruck y el equipo de drones.

También se dio a conocer que el Sistema de Tren Eléctrico Urbano (SITEUR), indicó que las estaciones Plaza Patria y Zapopan Centro de la Línea 3 de Mi Tren, estarán cerradas el domingo 12 de octubre de 5:00 a 13:00 horas y varias rutas que cruzan con la ruta que recorrerá la imagen y sus fieles de cerca de 9.20 kilómetros modificarán sus trayectos.

RUTAS QUE MODIFICARÁN SU TRAYECTO

C73. De Sarcófago se desviará hacia Libertad, para luego tomar su recorrido regular por Avenida Tesistán, mientras que en sentido inverso, de Avenida Tesistán se irá hacia Independencia y en Industria continuará su recorrido.

170B. Se desviará de la Avenida Tesistán hacia Independencia, Industria, Manuel H. Alatorre y en Avenida Aurelio Ortega continúa su derrotero ordinario. En su viaje de regreso, luego de circular por Avenida Aurelio Ortega, Manuel H. Alatorre y Sarcófago se irá hacia Libertad para continuar por Avenida Tesistán.

C84. De Fray Toribio de Motolinía se desviará hacia Ramón Corona y en Zaragoza se retornará para continuar por Avenida Hidalgo y continuar su recorrido diario. De regreso, al circular por Colón, se desviarán por Avenida Tesistán hasta Constitución, para continuar por Fray Toribio Motolinía con su ruta habitual.

C85 dos vías. De Fray Toribio de Motolinía se desviará hacia Ramón Corona, Cuitláhuac, Independencia, Industria y en la Lateral Avenida Juan Pablo II retomará su recorrido.

En su trayecto de regreso, de circular por Avenida Manuel Ávila Camacho tomará hacia la Avenida Aurelio Ortega, Manuel H. Alatorre, Sarcófago, Libertad, Emilio Carranza, Allende, 16 de Septiembre y en Constitución continuará su recorrido habitual.

T08. De Avenida Tesistán se desviarán hacia Independencia, Industria y en la lateral de Avenida Juan Pablo II continúa su recorrido, mientras que al regresar, de la lateral de Avenida Juan Pablo II se desviarán hacia Avenida Manuel Ávila Camacho, Santa Rita, Avenida Aurelio Ortega, Manuel H. Alatorre, Sarcófago, Libertad y en Avenida Tesistán se reincorporan a su derrotero.

T16B. De la lateral de Avenida Juan Pablo II se desviarán hacia la Avenida Manuel Ávila Camacho, y en Santa Rita se retornarán para continuar por Avenida Aurelio Ortega para proseguir su recorrido en la lateral de Avenida Juan Pablo II.

T16B-C06 La Magdalena, T16B-C07 Vistas y T16B-C08 La Piedrera. De Avenida Tesistán se desviarán hacia Constitución, donde retornarán para continuar por su derrotero habitual. De regreso, al circular por Ramón Corona, tomará por Cuitláhuac, después por Colón hasta Avenida Tesistán para continuar con su ruta.

C81, C82, C88, C121A Ávila Camacho, C136, T08-C01, T16A-C01, T16B, T16B-1, T16B-C01, T16B-C03, T16B-C04, T16B-C05. De ida, al circular por carriles laterales de Avenida Juan Pablo II, se incorporarán a los carriles centrales, por el paso a desnivel, para continuar hacia la Avenida Manuel Ávila Camacho y continuar su ruta habitual. De regreso no se modifican.

C72. De ida, al circular por Avenida Tesistán, se desviarán por Independencia, después Industria y Manuel H. Alatorre, hasta Avenida Aurelio Ortega y continuar con su ruta habitual. De regreso, al circular por Avenida Aurelio Ortega, continuarán por Manuel H. Alatorre, Sarcófago y Libertad, para seguir por Avenida Tesistán con su derrotero regular.

V04 de la Ruta López Mateos. De ida, al circular por Avenida Tesistán, se desviarán por Independencia, Industria, Paulino Navarro y Avenida San Jorge, hasta Avenida Manuel Ávila Camacho, donde seguirán con su ruta regular.

De regreso, al circular por Avenida Manuel Ávila Camacho, se retornará en vuelta en “u” en Avenida Patria, seguirán por Avenida Manuel Ávila Camacho, Avenida San Jorge, Sarcófago y Libertad, hasta Avenida Tesistán donde continuará con su ruta.

Las rutas que sufrirán retrasos en la operación del servicio serán:

C17, C139, C140, Mi Transporte Tren Ligero (Sitren) L1 y la V02 de la Ruta López Mateos. En Avenida Juárez/Avenida Ignacio L. Vallarta, de Avenida 16 de Septiembre a Avenida Unión.

C64, C65, C79, C104, C108, C109, C110 y vías, T08, T08-C01, T09-C1, T09-C2, T18, T18 Terranova, V03 y V04 de la Ruta López Mateos. En Avenida Unión/ Avenida de las Américas, de Avenida Ignacio L. Vallarta a Avenida Manuel Ávila Camacho.

The veneration of the Virgin of Zapopan, which is why the pilgrimage of this religious image takes place every October 12th through various municipalities in Jalisco. Juan Pablo Hernández, Jalisco’s Secretary of Security, shared that they will have high-tech devices to be in constant contact with the police stations in Guadalajara and Zapopan, such as the Titan Aerotactical Squadron, the Mobile C2, the Cybertruck units, and the drone team.

It was also announced that the Urban Electric Train System (SITEUR) indicated that the Plaza Patria and Zapopan Centro stations of Line 3 of the Mi Tren (My Train) will be closed on Sunday, October 12, from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and that several routes that cross the route the image and its followers will travel, approximately 9.20 kilometers long, will modify their routes.

ROUTES THAT WILL MODIFY THEIR ROUTES

C73. From Sarcófago, the train will detour to Libertad, then resume its regular route along Avenida Tesistán. In the opposite direction, from Avenida Tesistán, it will go to Independencia and continue its route at Industria.

C84. From Fray Toribio de Motolinía, it will detour toward Ramón Corona, and in Zaragoza, it will turn back to continue on Hidalgo Avenue and continue its daily route. On the return trip, when traveling through Colón, it will detour along Tesistán Avenue to Constitución, and continue on Fray Toribio Motolinía with its regular route.

C85, two-way. From Fray Toribio de Motolinía, it will detour toward Ramón Corona, Cuitláhuac, Independencia, and Industria, and will resume its route on the Juan Pablo II Avenue side road.

On its return route, from Avenida Manuel Ávila Camacho, it will turn toward Avenida Aurelio Ortega, Manuel H. Alatorre, Sarcófago, Libertad, Emilio Carranza, Allende, and 16 de Septiembre, and at Constitución, it will resume its usual route.

T08. From Avenida Tesistán, it will detour toward Independencia and Industria, and continue its route on the Juan Pablo II Avenue side road. On its return route, from the Juan Pablo II Avenue side road, it will detour toward Avenida Manuel Ávila Camacho, Santa Rita, Avenida Aurelio Ortega, Manuel H. Alatorre, Sarcófago, and Libertad, and at Avenida Tesistán, it will rejoin its usual route.

T16B. From the Juan Pablo II Avenue side road, it will detour toward Avenida Manuel Ávila Camacho, and at Santa Rita, it will return to continue along Avenida Aurelio Ortega and continue its route on the Juan Pablo II Avenue side road.

T16B-C06 La Magdalena, T16B-C07 Vistas, and T16B-C08 La Piedrera. From Avenida Tesistán, they will detour to Constitución, where they will return to continue on their usual route. On the way out, when traveling on the side lanes of Avenida Juan Pablo II, they will merge into the center lanes through the overpass to continue toward Avenida Manuel Ávila Camacho and continue their usual route. C72. On the way out, while traveling on Avenida Tesistán, they will detour through Independencia, then Industria and Manuel H. Alatorre, to Avenida Aurelio Ortega and continue on their regular route. On the way back, while traveling on Avenida Aurelio Ortega, they will continue through Manuel H. Alatorre, Sarcófago, and Libertad, then continue on Avenida Tesistán with their regular route.

V04 of the López Mateos Route. On the way out, while traveling on Tesistán Avenue, they will detour through Independencia, Industria, Paulino Navarro, and San Jorge Avenues to Manuel Ávila Camacho Avenue, where they will continue their regular route.

On the way back, while traveling on Manuel Ávila Camacho Avenue, they will make a U-turn at Patria Avenue, continue along Manuel Ávila Camacho Avenue, San Jorge Avenue, Sarcófago, and Libertad Avenues to Tesistán Avenue, where they will continue their regular route.

The routes that will experience service delays are:

C17, C139, C140, Mi Transporte Light Rail (Sitren) L1, and V02 of the López Mateos Route. On Juárez Avenue/Ignacio L. Vallarta Avenue, from 16 de Septiembre Avenue to Unión Avenue.

C64, C65, C79, C104, C108, C109, C110 and roads, T08, T08-C01, T09-C1, T09-C2, T18, T18 Terranova, V03 and V04 of the López Mateos Route. On Avenida Unión/Avenida de las Américas, from Avenida Ignacio L. Vallarta to Avenida Manuel Ávila Camacho.
