LEGO inició oficialmente la preventa de su colección LEGO Editions dedicada al Mundial 2026, destacando sets inspirados en las máximas figuras del fútbol y el trofeo oficial de la FIFA.
La campaña global titulada «Everyone Wants a Piece» (Todos quieren una pieza) reúne por primera vez en bloques a Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappé y Vinícius Júnior.
La campaña incluye entre lo más destacado una réplica a tamaño real del Trofeo de la Copa Mundial de la FIFA construida con 2,842 piezas. También sets individuales que incluyen la minifigura del jugador con el uniforme de su selección nacional, una base en forma de su inicial (ej. «M» para Messi, «R» para Ronaldo) y detalles de su trayectoria. El lanzamiento oficial se realizará a partir del 1 de mayo.

LEGO has officially launched pre-orders for its LEGO Editions collection dedicated to the 2026 World Cup, featuring sets inspired by the biggest names in football and the official FIFA trophy.

The global campaign, titled «Everyone Wants a Piece,» brings together Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappé, and Vinícius Júnior in brick form for the first time.

The campaign’s highlights include a life-size replica of the FIFA World Cup Trophy built with 2,842 pieces. Individual sets are also available, each including a minifigure of the player in their national team uniform, a base shaped like their initial (e.g., «M» for Messi, «R» for Ronaldo), and details about their career. The official launch will take place on May 1st.

He died at San Camillo Hospital in Rome, after being admitted to intensive care the day before due to a sudden cardiac arrest. Although his condition was initially reported as critical, doctors confirmed his brain death shortly afterward.
He served as director of the newspaper Il Tempo and was news director at the radio station RTL 102.5. He was director of institutional communications for Expo Milan 2015 and editorial director of Formiche magazine. After his death was confirmed, his family authorized the donation of his organs, respecting his personal wishes.
