Zapotlán El Grande, Jalisco invita a disfrutar de la edición 12 del Festival Nacional de la Tostada en el que se darán cita nueve tostaderos de la región, 18 agrupaciones musicales y 70 artesanos del 14 al 16 de noviembre en la Plaza Rubén Fuentes.

“Es un Festival gastronómico que caracteriza a la región Sur de Jalisco. Se han nueve tostaderos de Uxmajac, Tuxpan y de Zapotlán El Grande para ofrecer una tostada estilo Zapotlán, que es una tostada horneada o frita, se sirve con carne de cerdo, frijo, col y una salsa especial picante elaborada con chile habanero, chile de olla, o chile serrano, según el gusto de cada tostadero”, dijo Alejandro Gómez, Jefe de Turismo de Zapotlán El Grande.

El funcionario compartió que en este evento familiar que tiene como invitado de honor a Mazatlán y al cual podrá accederse de manera gratuita ya que se realiza en la Plaza Rubén Fuentes, se tendrá la presencia de 18 artistas que amenizarán las jornadas de 13:00 a 22:00 horas, además de la presencia de 70 artesanos de la región.

“El año pasado contamos con 12 mil visitantes pero, este año como el festival coincide con el puente del 20 de noviembre, esperamos una afluencia de 15 mil visitantes. Creemos que hay artistas que atraerán a una gran cantidad de público como Tony Vitro, los Cadetes de linares y la Sonora Solo Ritmo”.

“This is a gastronomic festival that characterizes the southern region of Jalisco. Nine tostada vendors from Uxmajac, Tuxpan, and Zapotlán El Grande will offer a Zapotlán-style tostada, which is a baked or fried tostada served with pork, beans, cabbage, and a special spicy salsa made with habanero, chile de olla, or serrano peppers, according to each vendor’s preference,” said Alejandro Gómez, Head of Tourism for Zapotlán El Grande.

The official shared that this family-friendly event, with Mazatlán as its guest of honor, is free to attend as it takes place in Plaza Rubén Fuentes. Eighteen artists will perform from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and 70 local artisans will also be present.

“Last year we had 12,000 visitors, but this year, since the festival coincides with the November 20th holiday weekend, we expect an influx of 15,000. We believe that artists like Tony Vitro, Los Cadetes de Linares, and Sonora Solo Ritmo will draw large crowds.”

Volaris y Air Canadá han creado recientemente vuelos directos desde Guadalajara hacia varios destinos de México, Colombia y Canadá.

Elisa Haro Ruiz, secretaria de Turismo del Estado de Durango, compartió: “Estamos muy contentos de contar ya con un vuelo directo Guadalajara/ Durango. Han sido años de trabajar con Volaris, es muy importante porque es uno de los principales emisores del país, estamos a 50 minutos de Durango venimos a promover un mundo de cine, que vaya a los escenarios de grandes producciones cinematográficas”.
La funcionaria añadió: “Actualmente el turismo de Jalisco representa el 6 por ciento del total de turistas que recibe Durango, hasta hoy se trata de un turismo carretero y creemos que con estas conexiones con vuelos lunes, miércoles y viernes se puede incrementar esta cifra por lo menos al doble. Durango es una oferta turística nueva para el tapatío, queremos también a los duranguenses en Jalisco, me parece que hay mucho que ofrecer por parte de las dos ciudades. Para cerrar el año tendremos la Feria Navideña que se realizará del 19 de diciembre al 6 de enero, también el Festival Ricardo Castro que se celebra en Semana Santa y Pascua, la Feria Nacional La Villista en Junio y Julio que este año rompió récord con 1 millón 400 mil visitantes en los 17 días de feria, coincidirá con el Mundial. El Festival Revueltas lo tenemos en Octubre y el Festival de Día de Muertos en Octubre y Noviembre, todos esos eventos cuentan con el 98 por ciento de actividades gratuitas”.

YA SE PUEDE VIAJAR TAMBIÉN DE GUADALAJARA A TORONTO DE FORMA DIRECTA

El miércoles 5 de noviembre fue inaugurado el vuelo Guadalajara-Toronto que contará con una frecuencia de tres viajes directos por semana a través de Air Canadá.

The official added: “Currently, tourism from Jalisco represents 6 percent of the total tourists Durango receives. Until now, this has been primarily road tourism, and we believe that with these new flight connections on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, we can at least double this figure. Durango is a new tourist destination for residents of Guadalajara, and we also want Durango residents to visit Jalisco. I think both cities have much to offer.
