La edición 29 del Tour de Cine Francés puede disfrutarse del 11 de septiembre al 15 de octubre en más de 70 ciudades del país y con ello se mantiene como el único festival de cine que visita todos los estados de la República. Su doble circuito de exhibición, a través de Cinépolis y sedes culturales como la Cineteca Nacional o el Cineforo FICG, en Guadalajara, permite que las películas lleguen a públicos de todo el país con funciones subtituladas y a precios accesibles.

México es el tercer país con mayor número de espectadores de cine francés en el mundo detrás de China y Estados Unidos.

La selección oficial de este año reúne a figuras reconocidas y nuevas voces del cine francés contemporáneo, como Daniel Auteuil, Grégory Gadebois, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Suzanne Lindon, Abraham Wapler, Vincent Macaigne, Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, Pio Marmaï, Vimala Pons, Julia Piaton, Quentin Dolmaire, Hélène Vincent, Josiane Balasko, Ludivine Sagnier, Alexandra Lamy, Jérôme Kircher, Baptiste Lecaplain, Alison Wheeler y Lyes Salem, entre otros, así como a realizadores de renombre de la cinematografía francesa contemporánea.

Los títulos exploran temas como la justicia, el deseo, los vínculos afectivos, la memoria y el paso del tiempo. A continuación, les presentamos la selección de películas de este 2025.

De acuerdo con la Alianza Francesa de Guadalajara las fechas y los cines en los que se puede apreciar este ciclo son: Del 11 al 24 de septiembre en Galerías Guadalajara, La Gran Plaza, La Perla, VIP Andares, VIP La Perla, VIP Midtown Jalisco del 11 al 24 de septiembre de 2025 (2 semanas), mientras que en Cinepolis Centro Magno será del 11 de septiembre al 8 de octubre de 2025.

The 29th edition of the French Film Tour can be enjoyed from September 11 to October 15 in more than 70 cities across the country, thus remaining the only film festival that visits every state in the country. Its dual screening circuit, through Cinépolis and cultural venues such as the Cineteca Nacional and the FICG Cineforo in Guadalajara, allows films to reach audiences across the country with subtitled screenings at affordable prices.

Mexico is the country with the third largest number of French film viewers in the world, behind China and the United States.

This year’s official selection brings together renowned figures and emerging voices in contemporary French cinema, including Daniel Auteuil, Grégory Gadebois, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Suzanne Lindon, Abraham Wapler, Vincent Macaigne, Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, Pio Marmaï, Vimala Pons, Julia Piaton, Quentin Dolmaire, Hélène Vincent, Josiane Balasko, Ludivine Sagnier, Alexandra Lamy, Jérôme Kircher, Baptiste Lecaplain, Alison Wheeler, and Lyes Salem, among others, as well as renowned filmmakers in contemporary French cinema.

The titles explore themes such as justice, desire, emotional bonds, memory, and the passage of time. Below, we present the 2025 film selection.

El FICG busca a cinco casas productoras interesadas en adquirir derechos de adaptaciones cinematográficas de editoriales que asistirán al Salón de Derechos de la FIL Guadalajara 2025

Del papel a la luz, es el nombre de la convocatoria en la que el Festival Internacional de Cine de Guadalajara (FICG) y la Feria Internacional del Libro de Guadalajara (FIL) invitan a participar a representantes de casas productoras, plataformas de streaming y contenidos interesados en adquirir derechos de adaptación de obras literarias iberoamericanas para cine, series o plataformas digitales.

Alfonso Miller coordinador de Industria del FICG recordó que el programa de pitcheo editorial en dicho encuentro cinematográfico se realiza desde hace cinco años. “Han participado cerca de cinco editoriales por edición, de manera que hasta este momento han colaborado 25. Es una actividad muy histriónica es el único pitcheo en su tipo, todo se hace en un formato de happy hour, en un salón con cerca de 200 personas en donde las editoriales están pitcheando todo e tiempo. Ahora queremos cerrar más ese vínculo, a través de un proceso inverso, es decir, invitando a casas productoras a participar en FIL. La convocatoria es online y está en a página de FICG”.

Miller agregó: “Hemos recibido muchas preguntas. Una de las más frecuentes es ¿qué tipo de adaptaciones se van a ofrecer? En realidad todas las editoriales pueden pitchear a estas compañías. La inscripción es gratis. El premio es que los representantes de las compañías se ganan un vuelo redondo desde donde residen a Guadalajara, se les dan sus noches de hospedaje, acreditación en FIL, apareces en el catálogo y las mejores condiciones para que realicen sus actividades de gestión del 29 de noviembre al 7 de diciembre en el Salón de Autores del Área de Profesionales de la edición 39 de la FIL Guadalajara. ”. «From Paper to Light» is the name of the call for submissions to which the Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG) and the Guadalajara International Book Fair (FIL) invite representatives from production houses, streaming platforms, and content providers interested in acquiring adaptation rights for Ibero-American literary works for film, series, or digital platforms.

Alfonso Miller, Industry Coordinator of the FICG, recalled that the publishing pitching program at this film event has been held for five years. “About five publishers have participated per issue, so far 25 have collaborated. It’s a very exciting event, the only pitching event of its kind. Everything is done in a happy hour format, in a room with around 200 people, where the publishers are pitching constantly. Now we want to strengthen that connection, through a reverse process, by inviting production houses to participate in FIL. The call is online and is available on the FICG website.”

Mr. Miller added: “We have received many questions. One of the most frequent is what type of adaptations will be offered? Actually, all publishing houses can pitch to these companies. Registration is free. The prize is that company representatives will win a round-trip flight from their home to Guadalajara, their own nights’ accommodations, FIL accreditation, a place in the catalog, and the best conditions for their management activities from November 29th to December 7th at the Copyright Hall of the Professionals Area of the 39th edition of FIL Guadalajara.” More information about the call for proposals HERE.
