Jalisco está listo para hacer historia con uno de los símbolos más reconocidos de la gastronomía mexicana: el guacamole. Este 18 de junio, el Estadio Panamericano Charros de Jalisco será el escenario donde cientos de personas unirán esfuerzos para intentar romper el Récord Guinness del Guacamole Más Grande del Mundo, en una celebración que combinará sabor, tradición, identidad y convivencia familiar.

Con entrada completamente gratuita, el evento busca reconocer la importancia del aguacate como uno de los productos agrícolas más representativos del estado, así como el trabajo de productores, estudiantes y especialistas que participarán en esta ambiciosa hazaña culinaria. Más de 800 personas colaborarán en la preparación del monumental platillo bajo los estrictos lineamientos de Guinness World Records.

La jornada arrancará desde las 8:00 de la mañana con una amplia oferta de actividades para toda la familia, incluyendo una granja infantil, exhibiciones gastronómicas, muestras culturales, música en vivo y la participación de productores de “Sabores del Campo”, quienes presentarán algunos de los tesoros agroalimentarios de Jalisco, como la tradicional Cajeta de Sayula, el Chile Yahualica, derivados de la miel y el emblemático Queso Cotija.

“Ya se llegó casi la fecha, los esperamos el próximo jueves. El protocolo iniciará a las 9 de la mañana, el pesaje oficial será a la 1:15 de la tarde y a las 2 de la tarde comenzará la repartición de este intento de guacamole más grande del mundo”, destacó Eduardo Ron Ramos, secretario de Agricultura y Desarrollo Rural.

Más allá del récord, el encuentro representa una oportunidad para celebrar la riqueza gastronómica y productiva de Jalisco, reuniendo a miles de personas alrededor de una de las recetas más queridas de México y proyectando al estado ante los ojos del mundo como un referente de tradición, organización y orgullo culinario.
