PATRIMONIO. Noviembre es el Mes Nacional de la Herencia Nativa Americana en Estados Unidos
HERITAGE. November is National Native American Heritage Month in the United States

In the United States, November is observed as National Native American Heritage Month—a celebration dedicated to recognizing the history, traditions, cultural diversity, and contributions of Indigenous peoples.
Throughout the month, activities are held to highlight issues such as tribal sovereignty, voting rights, education, and the protection of ancestral lands. In Michigan, for example, Governor Gretchen Whitmer issued a proclamation highlighting the presence of more than 240,000 Native residents and 12 federally recognized tribal nations.
Notable dates include November 15, which marks the «Rock Your Mocs» initiative—an invitation to wear traditional moccasins as a symbol of Indigenous pride and identity. Additionally, November 19 is observed as «Red Shawl Day,» dedicated to raising awareness about missing and murdered Indigenous women and individuals. Native American Heritage Day will be celebrated on Friday, November 27—the day after Thanksgiving.
The observance also promotes ancestral knowledge, such as the «Three Sisters» agricultural technique—a method of growing corn, beans, and squash together to foster sustainability and food sovereignty.
The official designation of November as a month for this heritage was established in 1990, during the presidency of George H. W. Bush. Today, the celebration honors the legacy of more than 574 federally recognized tribes and millions of Native American and Alaska Native people who keep their cultures and traditions alive.

Australian actor and martial artist Richard Norton passed away on March 30, 2025, at the age of 75, in Melbourne, Australia. However, details surrounding his death were not disclosed until late October 2026, following the release of a coroner’s report by David Ryan. The investigation determined that Norton suffered a severe anaphylactic reaction, which led to cardiac arrest.
According to the findings, Norton had been using the peptides CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin as part of an alleged anti-aging regimen and to accelerate his physical recovery following surgeries on both shoulders. Three days before his death, he admitted to administering double the prescribed dose, despite medical warnings.
His wife, actress Judy Green, recounted that on the night of the incident, he experienced hot flashes and skin redness before collapsing. Although resuscitation efforts were attempted and he was transported to a hospital, he passed away hours later. The report also identified asthma and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy as contributing factors.
The case prompted health alerts in Australia regarding the use of experimental peptides that lack sufficient evidence of safety and efficacy in humans.
Norton built a career spanning over four decades in action cinema. He appeared alongside Chuck Norris in The Octagon (1980) and with Jackie Chan in City Hunter (1993) and Mr. Nice Guy (1997). He was also highly regarded as a fight choreographer and stunt coordinator, contributing to productions such as Mad Max: Fury Road, Suicide Squad, and Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.
