CINE y TV.

“Tú también te has ido, mi Lazare… Adeck…

French presenter Christophe Dechavanne is going through a period marked by personal loss and professional change. On October 20, 2026, he shared an emotional farewell message on Instagram for his dog, Lazare, accompanied by a video of himself dancing and singing with his pet in a swimming pool.

“You’re gone too, my Lazare… Adeck… Hello… I’m sure they were waiting for you with open paws… I will miss you,” wrote the presenter, who has often spoken about the deep affection he feels for his animals. This farewell deeply touched his followers, as he had previously lost his Jack Russell Terrier, Adeck, in 2020, and Hello, who died in an accident in 2021.

Professionally, Dechavanne stepped away from television in the spring of 2025, leaving his role on the France 2 program Quelle époque!, hosted by Léa Salamé. His departure followed a conviction in February of that year for driving under the influence of cocaine and exceeding speed limits. The court imposed a fine of 1,200 euros and a six-month suspension of his driver’s license.

At 68, the presenter is now looking to forge a path in cinema. In late 2025, he appeared in Toujours possible, a film directed by Jacques Ouaniche, in which he plays the boss of the character portrayed by Nadia Farès.

With a career that includes iconic shows such as Coucou c’est nous! and La roue de la fortune, Dechavanne is beginning a new chapter away from television studios, all while coping with the loss of yet another one of his pets.

Christina Applegate, 54, is facing a new chapter of medical uncertainty after revealing that her doctors have ruled out the multiple sclerosis diagnosis she received in August 2021. She shared this news in October 2026 on her podcast, MeSsy, where she tearfully described the emotional impact of the revelation.

The star of Dead to Me explained that, following a medical re-evaluation and further testing, specialists concluded that she does not have the disease. However, this news did not bring relief, as her health issues persist, and doctors are now working to determine the cause of her physical decline.

Applegate continues to struggle with mobility issues, intense bodily pain, balance problems, and extreme fatigue. She relies on a cane or a wheelchair to get around and attends physical therapy sessions three times a week.

The actress has also spoken openly about the psychological toll of her condition, which led to a deep depression and a sense that she had lost parts of her life and career. She also acknowledged the complexity of having been a public face in the fight against multiple sclerosis for years.

Best known for her roles in Married… with Children and Friends, Applegate finished her lead role in Dead to Me just as she began to experience her initial symptoms. Now, her priority is to find medical answers and navigate a recovery defined by uncertainty.

CELEBRIDADES. Muere Kyle Francis Kennedy

The Kennedy family is in mourning once again following the death of Kyle Francis Kennedy—granddaughter of former Senator Robert F. Kennedy and great-niece of former U.S. President John F. Kennedy—who passed away on September 21 at her home in Westwood, Massachusetts, at the age of 42. The news became public on October 20, nearly a month after her passing. As of now, the cause of death has not been officially disclosed.

The daughter of Michael Kennedy—who died in a skiing accident in 1997—and Victoria Gifford, Kyle was notable for her academic achievements and her commitment to education. She earned a degree in History from Georgetown University, followed by postgraduate studies in Early Childhood Education at Pace University and in Educational Policy and Management at Harvard.

In 2019, she participated in the Boston Marathon; however, a year later, she suffered a severe spinal cord injury that resulted in permanent paralysis and various medical complications. From that point on, she became an advocate for the rights of people with disabilities, even testifying before the Massachusetts legislature to speak out against medical discrimination and demand equitable access to healthcare services.

Both before and after her accident, she worked as a teacher in New York through the Teach For America program and contributed to educational reform initiatives aimed at underserved communities.

In 2012, she married Liam Kerr, from whom she later divorced. She had three children: twins Conor and Josephine, as well as Declan. Josephine passed away just days after birth. Kyle is survived by her sons, Conor and Declan, as well as her mother and her siblings.

Her death adds to the series of tragedies that have marked the Kennedy family; it follows the passing of her cousin, Tatiana Schlossberg, who died in December 2025 from leukemia.
