Los hermanos españoles Pablo y Alejandro Turlo, conocidos como Violincheli Brothers, presentarán en Jalisco su espectáculo “New Emotions”, una propuesta que combina música clásica con rock, pop y jazz. El dueto, originario de Valencia y finalista de Got Talent España 2021, anunció una gira por el estado durante una rueda de prensa en el Edificio Arróniz de Guadalajara.
El espectáculo transforma obras de compositores como Bach y Vivaldi mediante instrumentos acústicos y eléctricos, pedaleras y efectos, para crear versiones con sonidos cercanos al rock de bandas como Nirvana y Deep Purple. En Jalisco estarán acompañados por un cuarteto de músicos tapatíos integrado por piano, bajo, guitarra y batería.
Organizada por la Secretaría de Cultura de Jalisco, la gira contempla cuatro conciertos gratuitos: Lagos de Moreno, el 20 de agosto a las 19:00 horas; Puerto Vallarta, el 22 de agosto a las 19:00; Ajijic, el 27 de agosto a las 18:30; y Mazamitla, el 29 de agosto a las 20:00 horas.
La propuesta busca acercar la música clásica a nuevos públicos mediante una experiencia sonora que combina tradición, tecnología y géneros contemporáneos.

El proyecto también destaca por su vocación formativa. Durante su primer año han participado alrededor de 70 estudiantes de distintas carreras, quienes encuentran en la estación un espacio para desarrollar contenidos y nuevas propuestas.

August 20th marks the station’s first anniversary. Broadcasting 24 hours a day from Guadalajara, it has surpassed 51,000 online listeners and reached over a million people on social media during this period. This summer alone, it recorded 7,300 unique listeners on its digital platform.

Despite a signal of just 50 watts, Radio ITESO has managed to connect with audiences in countries such as Germany, Argentina, Australia, Canada, Spain, India, the United Kingdom, and Sweden.

The project also stands out for its educational mission. Around 70 students from various degree programs have participated during its first year, finding a space at the station to develop content and new ideas.
